Our Big Reveal

...Only 6 months late in posting it...
Just thought I'd upload it to have it all documented since I JUST got the pics from my dad :)
We had to throw together our little announcement to all our family members pretty quick since the Jones side was wanting to do an August family vacay and it wasn't working for us to just say we weren't sure about going, blah, blah, any excuse we could think of?! And my mom wanted me to fly to Canada with her in June and I just didn't think I'd be up for it...So the announcement came probably 6 weeks sooner than we would have done, oh well!

Easter Recap...yes, Easter.

I know, I'm a tad behind....
I didn't see these pics my dad had taken until late May, so I thought I'd share them bc they are sweet pics of the girl. We had a lovely Easter time, Joe had a fishing trip that week with his brother and dad and I spent a lot of time in Michigan - probably the most since moving to IL and then Joe joined us and then we came home that weekend to work on creating Lucy's new room and then had Easter at our home church & dinner with the Jones family. Lovely times!

Biker girl

We have enjoyed a few family bike outings on the prairie paths around here, although I was told I probably should not bike anymore at my last appointment :( But looking forward to more rides in the fall!
Isn't she the cutest in that little bike trailer?! so glad we got it - she enjoys being in there 80% of the time, but we have learned not to go on too long of rides, hey I start whining too! :)

Hair Help!

So I'm always floundering with what to do with my hair. I used to dye it all the time and cut it differently very often, back in my wild and crazy days... ;)
now I'm boring and Joe likes it that way...natural color and long. nothing fancy.

With that said, I'd love to get your opinions on if you have any thoughts on what I could do to update it a little and if you think I should go for it now in the summer or wait till the littlest one is a few months old and I'm showering and going out more and might actually style my hair (though I'm not making any promises)...

Little Lawn Mower

These are a bit late, but Lucy enjoyed helping daddy mow a few times this spring. She's so sweet and content walking along with him, it's the sweetest thing to watch!
