O Christmas Tree

Here's a sampling of an average night...

Starting a project (the tree) and that's all. We got it up and ran out of time and energy to complete it.
So guess trimming the tree and decorating the house will be a week long process :)
Such is the life with 2 babies  :)

Herbs

Ok so I planted way too many plants this spring and then didn't tend to them............
A hot summer + a very preggo mamma + a toddler + little more sore this time around in every way = a FAILED garden.....
Regardless we did get some produce and last week I just rounded up some last herbs that were still growing and saw this recipe in Good Housekeeping. I ran out of time so I threw the potatoes into the kitchenaid mixer and made them mashed and tweaked them with the herbs I had. Hadn't done that before and it was fun - adding the herbs and Parmesan meant they didn't need butter, that's always good eh? :)

Noah - 2 months

Little man isn't so little anymore! He's 11lbs 6.5oz - 37%, 58% for height and 18% for head! :)
He also had an attached tongue and got that clipped last week, poor guy :(  He is doing better with eating now though - not slurping so much and not taking in as much air that was making him cry & be so burpy.

He has been SO smiley and talkative lately, it's precious! Here are some photos of our 2 month old!

Christmas Finds

Found tons of Christmas loot at Target on clearance last week - you should definitely check it out if you are perusing for gifts!

Feel like I found something for everyone on my list (anyone female...)

Clearance nail polishes in great colors (and this type of polish is actually quite good - I'm buying less OPI these days...), cute purses (for me?), a horse door mat (featured in country living magazine and only $6.48!), a wallet, bangles, sweaters on sale/clearance, a beach tote with great handles and pockets

Oh and I also found a ton of kids toys on clearance this summer & fall for the neices and nephews at target as well (50% off!) and purchased a few things just last week from zulily as well. How can I be almost done with my shopping?!  :)

Anyone else have recommendations for places to look for Xmas presents for a gilr on a budget & with lots of family members to buy for??
